Social Metric collects data from users' social media accounts with the help of official social media APIs that have been linked by users (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or YouTube). The data retrieved by social metric is only data that has been approved by the user to be collected.
The data collected is used to generate insight of social media account performance. Insights can be used by users to review their social media performance.

Protection for Synced Social Media Account With Social Metric
Social Metric will only manage the permitted data from social media account owner of their account such Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
Social Metric will only ask for the permission using standard OAuth which is processed by each Social Media such Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
Social Metric will not use any permission for taking control of Social Media Account like posting, commenting, liking or other action provided by each Social Media.
Social Metric store the data from permitted Social Media Account to the database in fully secured & dedicated Server, then the data will not be transferred to unpermitted official partner.
Social Metric only process the stored data from database with unique algorithm to be an insight information to the User.

Revocation of User's Social Media Data Access Rights
Users who want to revoke access to social metric in accessing their social media data can go through this following steps:
- revocation of YouTube data access rights via google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
- revocation of data access rights for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter on the settings page of each related social media account
Service Termination
Users of the Social Metric website and web application can unsubscribe from various types of latest promo information and exclusive (unsubscribe) offers if you do not want to receive this information.
